Week 5   January 29 - February 2

Day 1 - We checked to see who had completed their locker and eye protection assignment and took care of some preliminary work for beginning construction of the mousetrap car.  We then watched a demonstration of how to make wheels for the mousetrap car, then began that work.
Day 2 - We learned how to make bearings, then finished up making the wheels and bearings.
Day 3 - We learned how to make the mousetrap car frame, then worked on constructing the mousetrap car.
Day 4 - We learned how to mount the bearings, axles, and wheels, then did that work.
Day 5 - We learned how to mount the lever arm to the trap, and how to mount the hook to the drive axle.  We then did that work.

If you were absent this week you will have to do some extra credit as an alternate assignment.  You need 20 points for each day you missed.
