Week 10, December 18 - 20
Day 1 - We watched a video, and discussed careers in the Health Sciences or medical field to include food services, plant operation, security, and communications. The point was made that you don't necessarily need to be a doctor or nurse to work in health science areas, there are plenty of opportunities in supporting roles
We also completed CDA #9, Identifying Career Interests. We learned about Holland Codes, helped students to see which Holland Codes applied to them, and high demand, high wage careers associated with each Holland Code.
If you missed these opportunities you could do a little online research about each topic, and write in your own words what you learned. You will need a full page, single spaced as an alternate activity. Use the guidelines as found on the extra credit page of this website.
