Week 1, October 16 - 20
Engineering & Design
Days 1 & 2 - Students made a 3 view drawing of their mousetrap car design. If you were absent you can watch the video that describes how to complete the assignment on the mousetrap videos page of this website .
Day 3 - Students learned how to make wheels and bearings, then started making the wheels and bearings for their mousetrap car.
Day 4 - Students worked on cutting out the parts of their mousetrap car.
Day 5 - Students went on a field trip, and were absent from my class.
For absences during the construction of the mousetrap car you can make up the points you missed by doing extra credit, which acts as an alternate assignment.
